Not-So-Random Poker Thought Of The Day

If ones wants to have any fold equity whatsoever when one re-raises big on a good draw, one should (1) count the number of chips in one's opponent's stack before betting and (2) not do so ten minutes after joking with one's friends (at the table) about losing $170 after re-raising all-in on what turned out to be just a flush draw.
