Ok. Spilling over into the 90's is where rock music took a deadly turn in my eyes. I couldn't take it anymore. So you lost me with that list. Rock music in the 90's was so bad I listened to country and classic rock. Hey - I still listen to country and classic rock. Uncle Tupelo? huh?

I'd say Still Feel Gone is where there making the transition from straight alt-country to alt-country/rock.

All good choices, but I'll bet I can supplement. I would switch out Loveless for Achtung Baby, though.

"Soon" is hands down the best song out of any of the albums on that list.

(For those who are confused, it's on Loveless - My Bloody Valentine. An acquired taste. Bet Dawn would love them.)
